On March 20, 2025, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declared a hefty ₹58 crore cash prize for the Indian cricket team in recognition of their remarkable victory in the ICC Champions Trophy. Earlier this month in Dubai, Team India, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, showcased their dominance by securing a thrilling four-wicket win over New Zealand in the final, marking their third Champions Trophy triumph.

The BCCI has announced a ₹58 crore cash prize to honor Team India’s outstanding performance in the ICC Champions Trophy, held earlier this month in Dubai. Under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, India secured a thrilling four-wicket victory against New Zealand in the final, claiming their third Champions Trophy title.

 The reward will be distributed among the players, coaching staff, support personnel, and the men’s selection committee, led by Ajit Agarkar. However, the board did not disclose the specific allocation details. Acknowledging the team’s remarkable achievement, BCCI President Roger Binny stated, "Clinching consecutive ICC titles is a rare feat, and this reward is a testament to the team’s hard work and commitment on the international stage."
